Where to start???...the canopy work is simply amazing, and cutting the corrugated kit wings up and folding them, along with the observer hatch underneath, is simply pushing the limits in 1/72nd scale modeling. The finish is sublime...
...this is an incredible build...

How'd you replicate the wood grain on the torp fin and is this scheme based on a real aircraft...???

Wood grain was kinda accidental...starting with white styrene, I brushed on "Italian Sand", as I continued to brush, it got kinda steaky...looked good to me! Let that dry, then dry(ish) brushed streaks of "Rust"...that's it!

Everything about this build is just spot on. I really like the weathered look. gosh, it would nice to get a photo of it with a carrier deck as background
