1:48 Lockheed Vega

old model kits from old birds, there are 2 different kits, bough old, amt/ertl with a transporter Vega and the Lindberg with a Vega Special, more or less "The Winni Mae".
First here is the amt, with markings from 1935, Langley Field, US Army Air Corps
and the Winni Mae will follow

the aircrafts from this time have the airstream design and and a big round engine. The Vega is a extrem aircraft, fuselage like a barrel, the bird wings are fitted to the fuse, looks like only taped to the fuse nd the stream line tire cowlings. Little bit different, maybe ugly, but for a aircraft collection a very nice colorful bird, think you like the yellowwings
