Needed a break from some 109's...and, it feels like it's been a while since I finished something...so I knocked this little bugger out.
Academy's 1/72 Sopwith Camel, with really crappy Academy decals!






Had no probs rigging up the wings, only had to replace one "wire"(stretched sprue).....the tail, well...busted that off twice, just after getting the rigging good...long story short, the tail was a F'ing nightmare and I walked away many times.

I have build the same kit, fully rigged, then dropped it on the floor whilst unpacking it at the Nationals........ Toke me five years to build up the courage to repair the damage. Yours looks very good Fermis. Did you do any work on the cockpit?

Borg...the only thing extra I did on this was the rigging and replaced the tail skid.
I really wasn't intending on rigging it, but figured it would be good practice for this one....

Main structural rigging for wings is done. Figured it'd be a lot easy to knock these ones out before installing the tail.

Now that is a rigging monster.

rigging is what scares me away fome bipes....

Awesome job on that DH-2! I also built one of those in 1/72 scale, but I rigged mine after it was fully assembled. It was pretty tricky in some places, but I managed to get it done. I don't think mine is as clean as yours though.
