This is build #2 of 3 I've been putzing around with. The kit gives me 3 choices to build as; the first two are aircrafts manufactured of Tachikawa of 2 different serial numbers. Boring, I know. Even though all 3 are painted up the same color, I chose the aircraft the saw action with the Manchoukuo Air Corps that was sent to Burma.

Comparison vs the P-40 ...
This kit was a joy to build. Zero fit issues. Simple steps, nothing complicated during the builds.
How I achieved the silver.
First started with a black base followed with a coat of silver.
Next, the shot a mist coat of Tamiya Titanium Silver. And finally top it with Testors Non Buffing Aluminum Metalizer.
Inner flaps, gear doors and wheel wells I used Model Master Interior Metallic Blue, which is close to Aotaki Interior Blue.
I ordered Mr. Color 58 Orange Yellow, which is a better match than IJN Deep Yellow.
The cowl color I used Mission Model Q1 Anti glare Blue Black WW2 Cowl color. (I highly recommend this for all your WW2 Japanese aircrafts)

Beautiful work Tom! The Hayabusa is such a sleek looking fighter. You did an excellent job on this project.

Looks great. The Manchukuo Roundels give it some color pop

That’s a beauty!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
