2012 QMHE Brisbane, Qld Australia

Post by RedRoo »

:writing: 2012 Was the first time I had competed in five years, having been overseas for some time, It as good to be back and the standard of the entries had jumped markedly. :shoutout:

I had entered two 1/32 Tamiya P-51 Mustangs done in bare metal foil.

I also set up a table of my models as a promotional example of the new scale modelling club I wanted to tart where I live.

:DI: Please enjoy these fine examples of the skills that the Australian modeller is developing. :dancing:

Sorry about the wrong angle, but this is the table with just my models.

A lot of people stopped and photographed my models and I was answering questions all day. I had a BALL :-)

I hope you enjoyed these images, as it was a lot of fun being able to be so close to some of the finest models in Australia.

Thanks :ggun:

Whoa #2... LOL! Love the tin foil Mustangs and the carrier hanger lighting on the USS Wasp.

:writing: It just show that we have far too much time on our hands down here, but there are some talented people around.
