Robogear Trex, "the Wasp"

Post by BorgR3mc0 »

Here is another Robogear Trex I have build. These are easy but a bit clunky kits. Yellow and black "wasp" color scheme, sprayed with rattle cans. Black oil paint wash, flat coat and highlights with white/yellow. Guns and rocket pods go t the same treatment.

Cool! Where do you get those kits? I never see them in any LHS I've been to.

I bought these at a local toy store when they stopped selling these. They are originally Russian but I have a French Heller rebox. Airfix reboxed them as well.
They are meant to play with, there are simplified war game rules including working rocket launchers.

Here are some others I have build over the years. The Wasp is the last one because me Robogear stash is now depleted. I do have some figures left but they are not that good.

Thanks, this is probably a decade of building Robogear kits so the quality of my modelling varies. Especially the first one with the unmodified working missile launchers is "rough".
