Re: Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire XIVe Conversion

Back to the Spitfire XIVe! One of the reasons I put a pause on this build is that Mathieu at LFD informed me that he had updated the cowling for the XIVe conversion and was sending it to me. It was worth the short wait. https://i.postimg.cc/dVthN1wg/IMG-6008.jpg I love how Mathieu incorporates a rec...

Re: Eduard 1/48 Hawker Tempest II

Do you usually put a drop of dish soap when mixing chalk and water for your custom wash? What is your usual go-to color preference chalk when making your own wash? What is your usual chalk : water ratio? Sometimes I feel I didn’t scrape enough chalk when mixing with water and a single drop of Dawn ...

Re: Eduard 1/48 Hawker Tempest II

Thanks guys! Appreciate the check-in with this build. After the painted markings are finished, I applied the stencil decals. I just could not get the clear decal film carrier to budge on my test mule so I decided to just apply them straight. A combination of Mr Mark Setter and Mr Mark Softer did a g...

Using Micro Mesh #6000, the black areas are rubbed away. Complete removal is not necessary but I want to make sure that there are no paint edge...
