I don’t feel so bad now about how crowded my workbench can get...

It is a mess and I seem powerless to change that. The Rule of Stuff has taken over.

Mines the same, but if I can keep a 5 x 5 inch clear space in the middle of it I'm happy!

That sort of works, until you get aircraft with 24" wingspan!

In case anyone is wondering, Tamiya Gray Putty is the same color as Dupli-Color Gray Scratch Filler Primer.

It's a high wing - it'll fit over the top of all the paint pots... Okay so the DC-4 is a low wing but then you just need to put it upside down...

At times, it looks like a gymnast on the high bar or the parallel bars....

making molds this morning. If the US guys are interested, HL has this version of the mold making kit for 10 bucks less than the one that has the resin parts a and b in it. About twice the amount of mold material, too...it is in the jewelry casting isle/

The smaller bottle was in the 30 dollar box that had a lump of clay and the resin material.

Here you can see the four blades...mounted upright on a piece of balsa, sitting on a piece of clay. Man, I hope they come out okay in a couple of hours.

These are prop hubs. Somehow, I lost all but the two complete ones. and the blades that had broken off. So, I used one from the earlier casting (white) and made one from sprue by chucking in in the drjill and sanding it to a point. Glued a shaft on it and then a mounting point on the nose.
