Turn off the news, do the things that you enjoy doing and are still allowed to do. Do what you can to minimize your risks and tune out the stuff that you have no control over.

:that:

I fully agree Carlos - that's exactly what we've been all week - we've hardly had the TV on at all - certainly the DVD collection has been getting good use!

Testors MM Enamel Quick Shots

I gots a funky edge on the seat but that will be a simple fixer. Going into this project my one rule of all is to build Out Of Box, which is the ultimate purifier for any model builder right? Also I forgot how the enamels operate with just a little bit of heat, but I like the effect.

Nice!
The Instrument Panel looks very sharp, with needles and all ! Is this really from a 1/72 scale kit? :hmm:

Pffffttt... I’ve had enough of listening to our Governor Cuomo yammering on about the coronavirus everyday. So I turnoff the news and binge watch anything on Netflix during the day. My son has been busy doing google classroom and the missus working from home. That leaves me free to hog the TV all day long.

So turn off the news and build instead. It’ll be far less stressful.

Kari, Everything is going to be from the Heller Kit. Highly recommended. Well, Marius knows his 1/72 Kits quite well! Here are the same pieces painted MM Panzer Gray as a black base, since pure black at 1/72 is often too, too much!

The cockpit looks real good Bruce!

MM RLM Black-Gray + Derwent Dark Wash 6B

Image

Thank you to SPAM! What I learned about priming comes from studying Carlos’s Airfix Me 109. What I learned about washes comes from Kari, basically. And studying John Kim for construction, and making sure everything fits and has an engineering purpose has been another great gift. Mark the Duke and Bolleken and Sylvio for sheer panache with 1:72. Model Crazy, Colonel Mostrich, Thomas Mayer and Floki Clint for their mastery as well. Mustang Joe for surface finishing, Blacksheep Tom and Lyle Willis for bold moves with old kits. Model Crazy, KennyX, Stuart for color theory. Peter Cherrylock for so many wonderful projects! You are all aces.
