Stuart you are right about that seam disappearing but I have not tossed the idea that I’m gonna pose the canopy open despite the French Impressionism of the cockpit! Check this out fellas—I’m getting a start on that funky End O War Paint Job;

Paint on! Looking good Bruce keep on chugging on this.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

I am tracking Friday to button up the fuselage, at least. My photos are kind of crappy but the seat belts... I cut out the decals... the green, me no happy, so I repainted them. I think these are of a piece (sympatico) with the instrument panel and at least are now brown thanks to ancient Tamiya Deck Tan, I swear it must be from university, anyway it is as you see, nearly done. The photos are crap-tastic; my desk lamp burned out and the replacement bulb is just not as good.

Thanks, bud. The deck tan looks a little nutty brown but after a few hours of inhaling paint fumes I am probably well I am pretty baked. I get worried about posting progress photos on the group build pages but I think most of the participants are doing their own thing which is fine by me.

They're looking good Bruce - much better now you've painted them. Looking forward to seeing that Fuselage glued together!

What they all said. I think the belts are spot on!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Excellent work Bruce. Great save on the seat harness color, way better than that green. :shoutout: And everything else looks to be coming along just fine. This,late war paint scheme should be interesting. :hmm:
