Today’s update- more airbrushing!

First up, I decided to try a marble base coat of Tamiya Flat White on the lower surfaces and flying surfaces topsides.

then I lightly airbrushed on multiple coats of very thinned (2 parts thinner 1 part paint) Tamiya Gloss White over the base coat

not too bad...

Cool - did you do gray overall? I have an F4-J ready for paint in the same scheme and have been thinking of trying this.
Thanks,

Thank you. Yes a base coat overall of Tamiya Gray Liquid Surface Primer. Except for in the intake. I used Tamiya White LSP in there for a more vivid white.

Good you have the a/b going. This is looking good.

Thanks Stuart & Lyle. I hadn’t airbrushed for quite some time! Maybe early summer of last year?
