1/32 Revell Bf109G-6/AS Höhenjäger

This is my recently completed conversion of the 1/32 Revell Bf109G-6 kit into a Bf109G-6/AS using the AMUR Reaver resin cowling. Incliuding the AMUR Reaver cowling, I added the following aftermarket items into the build:

1. AMUR Reaver Bf109G-6/AS resin cowling and supercharger intake
2. Aires Bf109G-6 resin cockpit
3. Barracuda Bf109F-G-14 resin prop and spinner
4. Barracuda Bf109G resin wheels, ribbed tire/smooth hub
5. Barracuda Bf109G resin exhausts
6. Synthetic Ordnance Works Bf109G resin/metal landing gear legs
7. EagleCals Bf109G6 decal sheet #32-42

The national markings and swastika were painted using custom cut masks. AK Real Colors RLM 76 Version 2 was used for the external colors.

Absolutely beautiful John. From the AM cowling that you added in flawlessly, the mono paint scheme that you was able to show off your modulation abilities and the final weathering that blended everything together perfectly.

Thanks Clint! I was please on how the resin cowling was blended with the kit fuselage. However, I did want it to stand out a little bit so I did some post-shading to accentuate the cowling very subtly, around the edges of the cowling, especially on the fuselage sides.

Thank you Carlos! With the more common camo schemes, you pretty much have a good idea of what your model is going to look like so It's interesting to see how this actually turned out since there aren't too many builds of this color scheme.

You are striving for perfection, my friend. And you're getting closer with each build. I really love this particular build because the scheme doesn't distract from the lines of the aircraft. 99% of all Me190 models are covert in all sorts of camo schemes and as the observer you're getting more sucked into those schemes the more you see of them. Yours is bringing the attention back to the subject. Like I said, I love it!
