Thank you, Stuart.

I am such a doofus. Yep. That is me. I spent a bit over two days fudging and fussing around with trying to paint black stripes on the tail hook. I could not find my striped paint anywhere. This morning, I put the tailhook in place and closed up the fuselage to see if I could cheat a bit and not paint all of it. It turns out I can! See below:

That little, white nub sticking out the butt end of the tail Is all that will show. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Well, it’s not like you’re displaying it in flight with the tail hook deployed. Looks good, Lyle.

True. This is pretty typical of how my modeling sessions go these days. :bag:

It is closed up. I closed/glued/re-glued it in sections. The tailwheel is a bit skewed, like me. I can straighten it by moving the bulkhead aft a bit. I'll try that later. Got the engine painted.

I must apologize.
I did see you mention the tailhook dilemma....and I knew it didn't matter...and I didn't say anything :bag:

Ferris, you are forgiven! I should have been able to figure it out before I did.
