1/48 Academy F-4J Phantom
Re: 1/48 Academy F-4J Phantom
Good to see you plugging away on this one! Sometimes it's hard to maintain momentum after a set back... I know I have that problem!

Yeah it really is. It needs to be reprimed in those areas and then paint but I'm afraid of building up to much paint. Any suggestions?

Great to see this build back!!
Re: 1/48 Academy F-4J Phantom
Thin primer and paints more than usually and build them up in thin layers. So they blend in with the paint beneath and you can avoid it looking like corrosion control. Also spray with low pressure and from a short distance.Medicman71 wrote:Yeah it really is. It needs to be reprimed in those areas and then paint but I'm afraid of building up to much paint. I'll echo what John said about it's good seeing you back on this one.
Sometimes that happens on long drawn out builds. Hang in there with it Mike.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
