Thanks for you guys encouragement. I thought I had met my match with this build until I started building a Revell Corsair that my son had in his stash (or rather that I bought him for his stash). What a POS!!! If it werent for the fact that I'm as far as I am and am building this for a mentor of mine for Christmas I would have thrown it in the friggin trash can already and purchased a Tamiya version. What's keeping me going with the Corsair now is the challenge of beating this thing!!! lol

Yeah the Tamiya ones are cherry...shop around and get the one w the bonus moto-tug and figs. Wing-fold optional!!!JimD wrote:I've thought about grabbing one for the giggles at Hobby Lobby very now and again. Sheesh your kit was probably molded in the last 5 years too. Think of all the wear on those molds. Lol. Do yourself a favor and grab a Tamiya pop at some point. They are pretty nice kits.

Re: 1/48 Hasegawa Ju-87 Stuka Finished
I'll end up buying the Corsair with the tug I think. I've been eyeing that one now for about a month. This whole Corsair thing was supposed to be a project for my son and I a few months back. I bought two of these so we could build one together. He started his doing things his own way and didn't want to listen to me (because out kids are alot smarter than we are......lol........with a blue sharpie) so you've gotta hand it to him for wanting to get the ball rolling and try one on his own. He stopped working on it after a day or so and things just fizzled out. I've attempted to stir the pot and get things under way with building a time or two but hockey season is here and he's busy with that (at least it aint video games he's addicted to! lol ).
Somewhere along the lines I got the idea to build a really good friend of mine a Corsair for his Christmas present and already having this Corsair "in stock" I decided to go for it. I'm getting through the build but man, oh man am I throwing alot of work at it. I'd start a WIP thread on it but the trash can calls out its name every day. That Tamiya kit would be a dream to build compared to this old Revell kit I'm sure. I'm in the trap of already being mostly underway with it though!.
BTW that Corsair looks like a dream. I'm planning on folding the port wing on my build. We'll see what happens.........................................
