Her battle cruise roots are very apparent in the hull lines right now.

I can't wait to see them laser cut pieces.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

I would suspect they will be here in a week or so. The blog site he sells his stuff on won't allow one to copy the pictures, to prevent piracy I imagine

I didn't get anything done last night but did find this incredible detail set. It should be here by next week. If it works out, I'll need another four more sets, mainly for the Kates, 12 with torpedoes and 15 with bombs. I'd probably have enough left if I ever get that Kaga. There's more detail than in some 1/72 and 1/48 kits. I haven't figured out how I will cut out the cockpits, Dremel I suppose.

This may just push me over the edge into the abyss of insanity. Oh well, what a fun and expensive way to go
I'm working hard to get'er done before next year. Now if they cancel next year's Nats, I think I'll....well I don't know what I'll do.

Insane and one step away from becoming an alcoholic. Nope... not for me. You're a brave one tackling that level of insanity.

Re: Modelcrazy's bench production 2020
Thanks again guys,
Blacksheep neither yet. Just movin along.
I should be getting that super plane detail set in today or tomorrow. I'll break out a couple planes and start work on them to see just what I got myself into.
Much done this weekend. PE girders and dry fitting to the hull to make sure all is straight. I apparently didn't take a picture of bow work. Too bad because that took most of Sunday to do.
Stern girders just about done
A little addition to the fore deck.
All that work covered. used filler to smooth out the join
The stern girders, not attached. I need to smooth the filler. Also there is a smaller section just aft of this section. I'll work on that then install the pillars. After test fitting, all of this will need to be painted.

Again, it's to bad I didn't take a pic of the bow work. There are girders that run down the entire length of the under decking. I'll probably wait until I attach the deck before I install those and I can't install the deck until I complete all the work on the side hull....which is waiting for that set from Korea. Well at least while I'm waiting for cable reels, ladders and the Korean set, I can work with the airplanes and figure how I'm going to cut the cockpit out.
By the time I'm done adding the additional work to the stern girders, the Korean set may be in anyway.
