Airfix 1/72 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C (S.2D)

Post by Stuart »

Hi All,

So this is my latest finish, Airfix's new tool S.2C finished as an S.2D (Martel A.R. Missile Equipped S.2C) from Ark Royal's 809 NAS Circa early 1970's.

As always, Brush painted with Humbrol Enamels.

Quite lovely!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Excellent brush painting Stuart! This airfix kit looks very good.

Stuart, you still may be able to claim that you’re slow... but you cannot say that you may not be good. You nailed it with this one! That is gorgeous!!!

That's for the very kind comments all - it's very much appreciated

Carlos - man that's kind of you to say, that means a lot. A lot of it's the kit though, yes it as a few issues but it has to be seen to be believed, Airfix have REALLY upped their game to another level with this one - the fit and finish are exceptional.

Cheers all and thanks again - oh and here's another pic!
