Just an astounding level of detail, commitment to excellence, skill, ability and craziness! You are a master model builder.

Wow where do I start! The motion blur prop is awesome! Along with all the other detail, turned brass wheels I would never of known something like that to be a thing. Even the antenna and it don't look completely out of scale either. Then the under deck section is just beautiful. I don't think I will ever be good enough to tackle this build.

Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won

Thanks guys.
I am getting a little tired of girders. After adding the wire stays between the aft pillars I think I'm going to put the PE girder set aside and work on good ole plastic...and the paper girders LOL. There's so many band-aids, fixes and afterthoughts to this ship, but I guess that's what you get converting a battlecrusier to a three deck carrier, then a single decker

I didn't get much done last night, I watched the last episode of Grant. I did set aside the deck and finished up the scratch built pillars I was working on as well as identify all the pieces that will have the paper details attached.
You probably won't even see them but I know they're there.

Those look sharp! Doesn't the noise of those tiny little shipbuilders working at night keep you up? Wow.

Yeah, I have 3 on the ways right now. Two are awaiting material shipments.

I don't like my optivisor, it squeezes my head and I don't need anything else squeezing my head right now. I just use my trusty magnifying lamp. I'm looking forward to starting on all the little walkways, overhangs and gun tubs. I received the 25mm twin gun PE the other day. Another Infini set with turned brass barrels. I love those guys, they'er the guys who made the incredible radar for the NC and aircraft PE.

Bravo on those replacement pillars!
