Hooray! Got the wings on. . .and the wing floats! This is major victory for me as this is the normal place things go horribly awry on almost all previous bi-planes, or anything with struts, for that matter.

Looking good so far Lyle. Is that rigging thread on there?

You funny man. No, no rigging thread. There is a piece of wire included, but no placement instructions nor indications on the model itself. Not sure I'm messing with that on this one. I'm just happy to have gotten the wings on.

Looks excellent Lyle! Congrats on getting the upper wing on!

I started a 1/72 scale Duck some time ago. Can't remember why I put it aside.

Looks awesome, Lyle! Once you’re finished with the Duck, maybe you could take it in the bath tub with you and play with it. :giggles:

Thanks. I’d nev.erget out of the tub!

With the decals, I’ve discovered that they curl we put in water. They take a long time to release. If you try to un-curl them, they shatter. If you just slide them off and very carefully get them situated, they will stay together.

Damn that sucks Lyle. Are they Academy decals? :giggles: I had that happen to the Academy P-40 and it was a nightmare.
