They are Scale Master. One came apart as I was brushing Solvaset on it...24 hour later. We'll manage. Got the laser printer limping along.Medicman71 wrote:Damn that sucks Lyle. Are they Academy decals?I had that happen to the Academy P-40 and it was a nightmare.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
Re: Grumman J2F-2A Duck
Bummer! What version are you doing? I may have insignia that might work.
BTW , ever see Murphys war? Great(only?) Duck movie

Re: Grumman J2F-2A Duck
Got the upper wing decal printed, cut out since it was on white paper and i just put it over the other one. There are a few places the decals did not behave or play nice, but it will be okay. What i am most happy with on this build is 1) I was able to finish a bi-plane, 2) canopy masking held and 3) brush painted the fuselage, upper wing and red chevron.
The kit had some flash, but the most irritating were the mould seams on almost every part. Got what I could and another one is in the books.

On to the next one.
