I think that effect is from the angle, perhaps? The corners are tricky.

Who knows? It was a 1/4” or so on top and 3/8” spot on the bottom. Both quite close to the leading edge and the wing top.

Doing the happy dance this morning. I have been dreading trying to paint the red. Not because it was red on white, but because of bleed and such. Fixed the two places that the white lisfed, let that sit, applied my masks, sealed the edges with some Future (brushed on) and let that sit. That is a huge thing for me. . . letting things just sit. The scalloped edges came out great...really sharp and clean. there are one or two spots that need some touch up

Too late. I managed to spash / spill less than a 1/2 oz or so of 91% isopropyl alcohol on it. Looks a mess, but it is recoverable with re-masking part of it and such. Should not be a complete strip and repaint. I hope not. This will sit now until my mood improves.

I got online as fast as I could. Just take it slow slow slow. Each step is completed and the work is set down safely for the next stage. Think of paint curing as an instruction.

i did. Just got done stripping it down to the primer. Oh well. practice makes perfect, huh? I will give this a day or so to air out and let it dry real gooder.

Yeah, it did...until i spilled ISA on it. After cleaning it up, i saw enough flaws that I just stripped it.
