Yep. That would work, too. I have some wire somewhere...just have to find it. I have plenty of sprue as well. It is difficult for me to get that much the same size, though. Maybe 2.5 to 3 feet in total.

Tomorrow is re-priming, cleaning some of the detritus from the work area, tweaking the masks, and cutting new ones. May work on the F-86D some, too.

That really sucked to hear that you had a boo-boo after that perfect mask off and application of red over white BUT....it's great to hear that you've got something sorted out to reproduce that beauty of a paint job Lyle. Looking forward to the results bro.

Just caught up on this. That paint job was spot on but it’s a bummer on the spill/splash of thinner or alcohol on it. Hey, you never know. Maybe this time it’ll come out even better.

OH, i meant the amount of paint. Waiting for a new airbrush to ship.

But, more paint has arrived, new a/ has arrived. I will get this!
