Ok my plastic surgeon brutha's this is where it got truly nasty for me. I almost tossed this thing in the trashcan about 3 times. As a matter of fact it was IN the trash can once and I rescued it. This was a dark time during this phase. :Bur2:

I installed the air intakes in the best position that I could to have the least gaps. I wasn't impressed..................

I thought I was gonna puke.................Jesus wept!

I moved past it though and puttied the crap out of it. Here it is with the putty on and drying:

More later.....

Oh believe me on two counts: 1. He got rich! and 2.) My mind was screaming "Tamiya, Tamiya, TAMIYA!!!!" . I may end up ordering one fairly soon. I say fairly because I've been ordering a LOAD of modeling stuff lately and the wifey is kind of tired of seeing purchases every friggin week. Three kits and a load of AM stuff.

I've got two 109's to build and then I'll get started on the Eduard Hellcat I just picked up. That kit is a beauty!

That's the only way I'd build another Corsair is to have a Tamiya. BTW the next build will be an Italeri Jeep in 24th scale for a buddy of mine for Christmas. Then its off to my HobbyCraft 109C in 48th scale with a good amount of AM stuff. Still have to get a canopy for it I think.
