The seats look great Stuart! And I LOVE the new avatar!

Thanks Carlos and I'm glad you like the new Avatar. Zorg was a great villain!Stikpusher wrote:The seats look great Stuart! And I LOVE the new avatar!
Good guess but no, it's Zorg, the villain from the film 'The Fifth Element', one of my favourite bits of sci-fi.jeaton01 wrote:Clockwork Orange?Stikpusher wrote:The seats look great Stuart! And I LOVE the new avatar!

Yup! The Fifth Element was such a great movie! All the actors were over the top in their roles. Obviously pure fun.

Bookmarked for later when I get home so I can have a good look at this build.
Re: Airfix 1/48 H.S. Hawk T.1
Oh indeed - it had a lot of humour in it - it was a great bit of sci-fi. I think I saw it at the Cinema about 5 times and watched my old VHS copy of it to death. Funny though, I've not seen it since early 2000.Stikpusher wrote:Yup! The Fifth Element was such a great movie! All the actors were over the top in their roles. Obviously pure fun.

That is one of my all-time FAVORITE flicks.
I’m still trying to get my wife to regularly tell me “You’re a monster, Zorg” so that I can blithely respond “I know.”

The seats are finished...
...and after a lot of fettling to ensure the wing tips pointed the right way, the wings are also on (along with the fuselage top.
So now, after a few small bits of painting, it's time for everyone's favourite part of the build process - filling and sanding!![]()
Cheers!
Those seats are great, Stuart! Nice work! And it’s good to see this sweet baby with the fuselage sealed and the wings on her

I get better luck of my wife calling me an @$$hole from time to time.
