It's not been easy - especially with a brush! but once I have all the niggles straightened up a coat or two of gloss on it I think it'll look pretty good, it'll certainly stand out on the shelf.Stikpusher wrote:Coming along nice.y Stuart! Red & white schemes are some of the hardest to do, since the white needs to look so pristine. It’s probably more of a challenge than bare metal.

I say you nailed the red and white.

You've done an amazing job so far. I would have screwed that up by the numbers twice over already! Way to go Stuart! As Carlos said; that combination of colors is the hardest to do, even more than bare metal.

That’s hella-sexy, Stuart! Very nice paint work indeed, as always. You’re doing a really great job, laid that red down nice and smooth and it just works so great with the white. Beautiful bird my man. Beautiful.Stuart wrote:

Thanks Gents - very much appreciated, I'll still tidying it up in places but it's almost done paint wise - I'm pretty pleased with it. I've made few mistakes with this build that I can correct on the next.
And speaking of my next build - it's going to be a T.1A equipped for the air defence/TWU role and painted in the 90's two tone grey scheme. I think side by side it'll go nicely with the red/white of the current build.

Oh that will be sharp. I love those low vis gray schemes! The challenge is to be subtle and still make it interesting...
