Yea, what X/Ken and Floki/Clint wrote I am echoing. So good to see the two together. I admire that bench too. One day I will have a bench like that.
Make more models!

Magnificent work Mike! Wings look awesome.Looks to me like you beat those issues into submission. And I echo Bruce's sentiment: I want a bench like that too!

Thanks guys! With the outer wings on, these Super Hornets are BIG!!
And the bench has been YEARS in the making. Most of it is from IKEA.

Mike I was looking in my display cabinet and happen to have a Legacy Hornet next to a Phantom. There is not much difference in size so the Super Bug must be big

Re: 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet
I was once told by a Northrop engineer who worked on the Super Hornet program at the time that comparing the Super Hornet to the original Hornet was like comparing the F6F to the F4F.

I'll have to do a size comparison soon.

Re: 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet
So I wanted to see the size difference and here ya go! The Super Hornet is far bigger than the Viper (expected that) and I think it's actually bigger than a Phantom!!!

I think that he needs the McDonnel Douglas or Boeing logo on his signature line...jkim wrote:Nice production lineup of jet fighters!

That's a goodly line up of builds there Mike, the Hornets are coming along nicely.
