Must be the rum!
It's up to you how much money you want to spend and how many new words you want to create "correcting" something.

More work on the SBD last night and this morning...
Starting with the canopy. The pilots canopy is a separate piece, but won't fit over the center section. The 3 rear sections are one piece...I want it all opened up. As usual, I thermo-formed some new pieces.

I cut masks on the kit parts, then transfer them over to the new parts.

Scratched some new gear doors as well. Very basic doors!
I have learned, that it is much easier to drill the holes, then part the part out around the holes. I started by poking some Arizona Sweet Tea aluminum with a needle...

Then drilled....

Then cut....

I then CA'ed these to another piece of Arizona Sweet Tea can aluminum and cut off the excess.

SBD ready for the paint booth!

Wow...so you have three US Navy birds ready for paint...I'm guessing blues and light greys...
One thing FOR SURE I know you ain't gonna be able to pull of is a shark's mouth on any of these MOFOs!!!
By the way, why are the tail planes a different color?
Re: Another batch-o-birds

Sharks mouth???.....eh, maybe!
Tails on SBD and W/C are Quickboost resin.
Hellcat#1 is ready for paint!
Made some new doors...they drop to make room for the wings to fold.
Used the same process as I did for the SBD's gear doors.
