Can't seem to get the body color from MCW. According to them, it was shipped, but with no tracking. . . about a month ago. Been working on the interior some. I finally got the 1mm Molotow pen out and simply traced the outline of the chrome trim on the door panels ... that will not be very visible anyway. I had spent the better part of 3 days putzing around with BMF, trying to mask it, and so on. I can be such a doofus. Took about 2 minutes.

Anyway, they re as done as they will be. Moving on, and hoping the body color shows up this year.

That looks really good Lyle!!! I'll agree that for Thomas' decals to disintegrate IS unusual. I use him exclusively for all my decals as I don't usually use kit decals much.

Marina Blue Metallic. Finally, Mike was able to figure out what happened to this order. For some reason his shipping software decided to send it to someone in Maryland and it was delivered there on the 12th of November. Getting more sent to me.

Being acrylic lacquer you'd better have some good ventilation ready. Are the paints ready to shoot through an airbrush or are they going to require thinning?

Mcw states they are ready to shoot. What I have received looks thin enough.

Engine in and floor pan glued to chassis. Nice fit, I think.

He also says in his insert, that big box store lacquer thinner should not be used to thin if needed. Guess I should see what is recommended. I believe I have some Tamiya lacquer thinner.

Well that makes things a little easier. What are you using for clear coat?

I don’t know. I have a fair supply of testers gloss lacquer, so that is the first choice.

MCW paints are ready to spray. I used box store lacquer thinner to clean my airbrush, but you shouldn't have to thin them.
