HELL yeah this is looking like a 'Stang!! Looking great so far Stuart. Sorry about the fit issues around the windscreen man but know you'll get all that sorted out.

Looks good, Stuart! Way to stick with it.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Nice choice of scheme Stuart. The OD/NG P-51D is not common at all. With the 357th FG markings, that will look very nice!

Thanks Gents! I'm glad I stuck with it, it'll be nice to have another 'Stang on the shelf, especially in an unusual scheme.

Thanks Kari,
I filled the wing panel lines in with some PPP over the weekend, and then gave it all a coat of thinned Badger Ultimate Primer to seal it in.

I'm pretty pleased I did it.
Cheers!

Looks pretty good after being sent to death row...

Looks good Stuart!
How is the fit of the bubble canopy, I have not removed mine yet from the sprue.
And I have not made up my mind yet regarding the panel canyons of my Airifx P-51.
Very curious to see how your bird looks like when paintwork starts!
