Not sure how much time I will spend on this part, though. The more I’ve looked at it, it needs something, but it will also be all but invisible.

To be honest, I wouldnt worry much about the headliner. It will never be seen.

I never one to worry about headliners. As everyone said, you're not going to see it anyways. I never worry about the headliners.
But the prospect of detailing it is remarkable.

Thought I was close to being done sanding/polishing....but I still can see some micro-scratches. Primer will likely take care of them, but I'll work on them some more. Smooth as a baby's butt...can't feel them with finger tips, etc. but I can see them. May be where primer filled earlier work?

Well, my instructor would not let me just put it on blocks and paint with a brush, so I got some primer on it this morning...
