How is the fit of the bubble canopy, I have not removed mine yet from the sprue.

And I have not made up my mind yet regarding the panel canyons of my Airifx P-51.

Very curious to see how your bird looks like when paintwork starts!

The windscreen fits beautifully Kari, but alas the bubble canopy not so much, I had to run a bead of putty around mine - that being said, there are 3 (or is it 2?) supplied in the kit and you might find one fits better than the others. I already had the filler out so I just went with the one I had.

I have to say the wing panels filled up pretty nicely with Perfect Plastic Putty. A guy on FB advised me not to use it and use Lacquer based car body filler instead. All I can say is that would have been a bloody nightmare to sand with loosing the nice raised detail on the wings, plus the smelll :stinky:

I'm looking forward to painting it although I am going to build up the u/c, prop and drop tank first, because I really dislike getting the painting and decalling done, only to then have to go back to do the rest. I'd rather have the rest done ready to add after the decals are finished.

Is it done yet?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
