Looking great Carlos! Keep it coming. Now I'm intrigued about the painted add-on...

I’ll keep it a surprise for now, but it’s the only way that I can think of to tackle this issue.

You're not talking about the RAM tape or whatever the hell it's called? I can't imagine there's a decal solution for this kit

No, it’s not the RAM tape. I don’t believe that stuff was applied to the prototype X-35s. All the photos show the late F-16 style Gunship Gray over Neutral Gray paint, without all the RAM zig zag.

Well, C'MON ......get with it. You ain't getting any younger and neither are many of us. Sheesh.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Ain’t that the truth! I need to go back and touch up the bang seat. I finally added the last detail items yesterday, and now have to clean up what I messed up while doing that...LyleW wrote:Well, C'MON ......get with it. You ain't getting any younger and neither are many of us. Sheesh.

I am going to guess...
Active Electronically Scanned Array Radar
(AESA)

I think the photo is the production series, though. Apologies.

Those are late production jets. Notice that there's hardly any of the lighter colored RAM tape? On late jets it's not as noticeable.

Nope, not that item. I shouldn’t have said anything about one more thing...
