Here's the finished pictures, I've had fun with this one and I like the look of it. When I build another I will use vacuform for the transparencies. I should put some dirt on the wheels and flow some thin black into the wheel spokes, but there is an XFV-1 yet to be finished this year, so on with the show. The propeller was worked on but it still could be thinned down some more. Notes to myself for the next one. I did put the fuel lines on the drop tanks, it wasn't too hard to do and seems very noticeable.

Wonderful work John but soooooo quick build!

Compared to my tempo, your build was almost in speed of light with top performance qualitywise!

Beautiful work, John!

Thanks, everyone. It was a fun build. I'd have replied sooner but the site has been timing out a lot.

Kari, there are many areas that a slower tempo would have resulted in better work, but sometimes I just have to go with "Perfection is the Enemy of Progress!"
