Wow...so you have three US Navy birds ready for paint...I'm guessing blues and light greys...

One thing FOR SURE I know you ain't gonna be able to pull of is a shark's mouth on any of these MOFOs!!! :Shark:

By the way, why are the tail planes a different color?
There is now 3 ready for paint....1 more to go(Eduard Hellcat)....SBD and Wildcat will be in light blue, Hellcats will be in 3 tone.

Sharks mouth???.....eh, maybe!

Tails on SBD and W/C are Quickboost resin.

Hellcat#1 is ready for paint!
Made some new doors...they drop to make room for the wings to fold.
Used the same process as I did for the SBD's gear doors.

last pic - valet parking gone wrong?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yes. Reminds me of the time I served as Naval Attache to Japan from '37 to '38. Was allowed to make a few landing on the Zuiho in a A6M2. Last circuit I came in too high and bounced the thing on the deck, bending the air-frame pretty severely. Those Japanese planes had a lot lower wing-loadings than I was used to in the 109. I was recalled to Berlin shortly after...

Managed to get a good 4-4.5hrs bench time this evening.
Found another Eduard "Profipack" F6F (forgot I had it!!! ) and figured I may as well do it, along with the others.

Painted the pit parts green...while that was drying, I glued wing halves, bombs, fuel tanks and repositioned elevators on the tailplane.

Pit...

Got it caught up to the other Eduard kit...wings and tail are just stuck into place, still need to sand seams and do a few bits before they're ready for the paint booth.

Yup...the ProfiPACK kit had a sprue in grey. The only difference (other than color) is that there's a smooth IP (for the PE) included on the grey sprue, that is not on the tan sprue with the "weekend" boxing.
