Things went together very well.....only one little "oopsie" and I am not telling.
Threw some white on the insides of the hull. It seemed to need it. I'm not planning on trying to add anything at this point.
I did add a couple of pieces of sheet stock to fill in the opening under the fenders....nothing but air, otherwise.
At the point of adding all the fiddly bits to the upper hull. For the moment, I'm only adding the "tank" parts and not the accessories, unless I have to. There was a hand crank under the rear shelf that absolutely could not have been added later, and now that the shelf is added, cannot be seen!
And a M4 at that! 
That is a great simple old kit... easily built in a day. If you want to dress it up a bit more beyond what you did with the sheet plastic sponson bottoms, you may want to add stretched sprue into the top deck weld seams. Batch them with Tamiya xtra thin cement and texture them to look like a proper weld bead. The kit depicts all the weld seams up there as trenches, which is not quite correct.
