Looking forward to the paint! I've heard lots of praise for MRP paints!

:P1: On that.

And as an aside, I’ve been enjoying MRP paints. There’s a learning curve, at least for me, in the sense that I can’t thin the hell out of them as I’m accustomed to with Tamiya paints. But once I caught on that straight out the bottle they’re fantastic, I got the hang of working with them easily.

That sounds like working with Mission Models paints Kenny. Keeping the paints as close to what’s in the bottle as possible works best.

Carlos, yep. I almost made a mess of my P-47D cockpit with the MRP Gunship Green when I literally thinned it 3:1 thinner to paint like I do with Tamiya. Good thing I shot it at a scrap piece of plastic first, holy cow!

What impressed me was their white. I was shooting it on the inside of my F-16’s air inlet, over black, and while it’s quite thin right out of the bottle, the coverage was quite fast. Went over that black base so white it was practically BLUE! I thought I’d shot too much paint at it. Nah. It just covers so well, and levels out so smooth. LOVE that stuff. I got their Camouflage Grey and Have Glass varnish for my jet, along with some other colors to mix into it for my modulation/variation. New concert here for sure. Definitely adding MRP to the mix, pardon the pun.

Coming closer to the moment I need to decide what camo to do..
Priming aka Black basing done and still hesitating over different options.

But as it's almost midnight here in ol' europe and tomorrow back to work after 2 weeks of holidays, time to wrap up... :headbang:

Looks mean all in black! I know how you feel I've been off for 18 days and have to go back in a few hours
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

That's coming along really well Kari - what are your thoughts on the choice of scheme?

Thanks Stuart I think I have made the decision, it will be "Anita".
The decision is purely pragmatic, not too complicated camo but still good looking.

Nice. The simple ones are usually quite nice.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Nice choice - anything looks good in RAF camo!

Not that I'm biased or anything!
