This build once again proves that it is all about the modeller not the the kit. You are doing great on such an old kit.

Believe it or not, yes. It was the second time I've used the newer decals from Revell and they aren't that bad. I used 'em on my Dauntless that I built last year too and you're right, they suck right down to the detail great and blend into the paint and clear coats fairly well.

On some newer sheets from RoG I read made in Italy. There are rumours that Cartograph supplies them.

You're in the final round of this epic fight, mustang. Time to give her the long deserved k.o. :boxing:

Hey guys. I did a photo shoot on the build on Saturday morning. I managed to complete it around 5:00 am and have taken a small break in place after driving myself into the ground to have this completed by the end of November. Looks like it got done with time to spare. I would like to thank all of you kind people in here that have kept me going in spite of the fact that I wanted to throw in the towel at a couple of points.

Here we go:

and a shot of it on the display base without the acrylic glass case over it:

I now have to put a "build-book" together for him because he used to build but can no longer do it because of he has a slight shake in his hands.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
