Looking great with those numerals on the sides John. Say......do you have any more reference photo shots of the landing gear bay? I've got some from the Aero Detail book but they aren't all that revealing in terms of details or colors used in there.

Do it Clint! It will start paying for itself immediately. Paint masking is the main use but it's handy for other things like like providing an adhesive template.

The masks make it very easy to get painted markings, which are superior to decals in all aspects. Doesn't totally replace decals since there is a size limit to how small you can go with masks and multicolor markings can also be difficult to mask but using them is definitely the next step up. If you know how to apply decals and have access to an airbrush, you should have no problem with masks. And you don't need to make your own as companies like Montex, Maketar, Eduard and others offer them for retail purchase.

A short pause after I've applied the fuel stencil decals. I think I can start on the mottle work soon.

I've decided to use Mr Hobby Aqueous RLM 76 mixed with white for the lighter color. Here are some of the smaller parts with the mottle applied.

Well I did it, I order it today, I hope you don't mind answering some questions for me after I get it and hook it up. The biggest one I have now, is the software that comes with it good enough for tracing the scanned decal sheet or do you recommend using another program?

The software that is included is great for the simple stuff. If you are proficient with an auto and program, you can do far more.
