Great build Stik. This was one that I have been eyeing on, just read the story at Montevideo where she was scuttled. I have the Academy Warspite and Indianapolis in 1/350. learning just know how PEs really helps improve the looks, especially for ships. but they are just damn expensive.

Thank you for the kind words sir. Academy makes deluxe editions of their 1/350 ship kits that come with PE, metal barrels that really make ship models look sharp. And those issues of the kit are priced better than what you would pay for all the AM from other companies such as Gold Medal or Eduard.

Stik - I guess I have to learn the hard way. You know you are right afterall about the special edition. I have regular Warspite and Indianapolis without the PE. trying to get a PE set for them is really expensive compared to if I had bought their special edition.

Monty, I agree 100%. Academy really put a sweet package together on their deluxe ship kits!

MLP, thank you for the kind words. Ships are a fun area to have a go at. But they sure take awhile to complete properly.
