I started on the cross bracing but the .020 round Evergreen stock I had was too large so I ordered .010 round. I'll start on the mid deck while I wait.

I started on the mid deck girders. After installing the starboard side I dry fitted the deck to the hull, something I learned to do earlier after much consternation of misaligned PE, I found that much of the beautiful girders I painstakingly and dutifully installed were covered by the funnel and the bulkhead above the funnel




After pondering this apparent waste of time, I concluded that at least I (and now you) know it's there. So I continued installing the rest of the starboard girders.




And started on the remainder of the Port side. I should have this section done and attached to the deck tonight leaving the Mid deck ready for paint and attachment to the hull.

It is a shame those are hidden, but, as you say...you and we know they are there. They are magnificent work...wow.

I completed the work on the port side mid deck, and dry fix it to the hull. I had to do quite a bit of adjustment and modification, especially to the pillars in this section. The tolerances are so tight the it's almost impossible to align them. After some adjusting and slight modification (trimming), I believe I have it where the deck sits as it should. Now I need to go back as add some of the areas I removed to make it look uniform and clean and obligatory repair of surrounding delicate parts. Oddly enough, the items I scratch built fit perfectly. Also, as a whole, there's too much to look at to focus in an just one area, kinda like looking at the Grand Canyon

Right? That underside is so busy, one would have to concentrate on one small area at a time to find any of the problems that you know of. Hiding a tree in the forest.

Yeah, that's another good analogy Stick. I'll concentrate on fixing the little things and get some paint on, then glue it down hopefully tonight but more realistically, tomorrow night. Next is the foredeck, which is almost complete already
