The F-105 carried those internally, that was the design basis for the Thud. While the Hun would use an inboard wing pylon.Stuart wrote:I've just been reading up on the F-100s and F-105s used in Europe. I might go for one of those, maybe carrying a Tactical Nuke.

The USAF communications base down the road from had both as gate guardians untill a few years back - it was a shame that they scrapped them.

I’m surprised that the gate guards were scrapped and not shipped to the US or sent to a museum.

The Monogram F-84F comes with a nuclear shape, doesn't it? Would that work with an F-100 also?

Yes, the F-84F and F-84G kits come with a Mark 7 bomb. That type was carried thru the early 60’s by tactical fighter with the nuclear mission tasking, including the F-100.

Re: The Century Series Group Build Feeler
Hmmm, I would be interested only I've already built at least one of every type of Century Series. I even did a number of them for different countries. I don't know what other variants or countries that fit in my collection that I could do.

You bet! Added to the list.Norman wrote:F-104G or F-104J? I’m interested
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I have the even numbered ones, 100, 102, 104, 106.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.
