Finished up the rigging today, now I need to spend a week or two fixing all the glue smears and the holes, some of which are extra 
. The wheels are really loose on the axles. Still have to put the exhaust manifolds on, too. I used the instructions from a Roden kit for the rigging plan.

John Eaton, that is a wonderful wonderful wonderful sight! Having properly rigged the kit elevates the qualities of the model so much, everything comes together!
Working on a chin pan. I made a paper form, scribed the edges, then delicately trenched the interior to make as much of a recessed area as possible. After that I used the same template to cut a piece of 0.10 plastic card, glued that. After that, I masked and sprayed Surfacer White 1000, waited an hour before sanding and adjusting any rough edges or areas.

My favorite gap filler.
When I first performed my “model building restart” in 2015, I was buying most of my supplies at the Dollar Store. My source for gap filler is the 7-11.

Way to go John! You finished that very quickly and beautifully! What a sweet looking bird!
Bruce! Nice work on the pan. Looks like you nailed it well. I also like the C/A glues for filler sometimes. Mr. Surfacer 500 and Tamiya white putty are my go- to putties for medium to small gaps and seams. Larger ones are done with strip styrene and C/A glue.
