Post by CallSignOWL »

Just a simple oob build that was supposed to be for the tweaker GB, but family commitments did me in. Painted i=with various rattle-cans that I had on hand, with decals from the spares.

My immediate thought was that red is intense, then i got distracted, again. Im sorry.

You're a mean machine with the brush, i dont understand why you dont get the airbrush out more often.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

For the scale you build in, I think it is fantabulous. Is that a G-4? I see it has an Erla canopy. I like your mottling and decal applications.

The airbrush is a day long ordeal. I don't have a at painting area so i have to pack it up every time. Now that i no longer have to work weekends, air brushing is a bit more feasible.

This was sprayed with spraycans.Testors and krylon.

I have seen your airbrush work and your brush work and I think that with this particular color scheme (with motteling) your airbrush would have given you a better end result. It is a good build but I have seen you do better, like on the early 109 and FW-190.
But I must say that I understand your reasoning about the hassle using an AB can be. I did not touch my AB for three years for exactly the same reason.
