No, not really. Ran to the sink to run cold water in it. May have uttered a word or two. Maybe.

Chloe, my four year-old granddaughter would ask if you had a boo boo (byoo byoo actually). Ouch Lyle. Man, did you forget that thing was hot? I did that about two weeks ago,

It sounds like you've been busier than a pair of jumper cables at a family reunion.

Hope ya heal up good, and soon.

A breezy, snowy COLD day here. It was 51 yesterday, almost 70 on New Years Day....Got to love our weather in KY.

Finally put on my big boy panties and painted the body. Used Diamond Blue Gloss Lacquer from MCW. Good stuff. May be a bit "dark" or not as pale as the official color, but on a couple of look-up sites for 1970 Mustangs, this was the color listed.

Any ideas on how in the heck to paint the "M U S T A N G" on the trunk lid?

I think this will polish up nicely with light sanding....

Nice paint colour! After a nice sand and clear, that will be super!
As for the Mustang lettering on the rear, I would use either a chrome/silver gel pen orrrrr try really really really hard to use a paintbrush. Whenever I see writing on models, I use a gel pen. You will have to do that before clear coat though, the ink on gel pens loves to wipe off. Glad to see this back in progress Lyle. All us are getting some 'stangs worked on.
