Thanks guys. Decals have never been my best friend, and I would try to paint it, but I don't have enough experience matching paint with decals. I don't mind anyway, get the chance to do a different aircraft and repaint the silver so it works out for me in the end. I have the paint, just gotta find the time... Hmmm

The AK Xtreme metals Polished aluminium is down. Not as shiny as I hoped, but if what I hear is correct, I can polish it a little once it has time to dry.

Ok here is the paint. The tail/empennage area is oddly pebbly. Though the nose is smooth. Not sure if I want to strip and repaint yet.

It almost looks like some solvent or a cleaner residue was left behind. I learned the hard way on that.
