(Old Build) TA-4K 1:48 AZModels

Post by scorpiomikey »

Over christmas we went to visit my partners family. I gave one of my models to her dad a while ago because its an aircraft he worked on. The kit itself was a pig. Soft plastic, ejector stubs (looks like they left the ejector pins out in a couple paces) some bits were blatantly wrong. This kit was also my first real experience with resin. Shes done up as the 50th anniversary golden scooter.

Its dusty as, and i had some difficulty with the decals. The paint is a hardware metalic paint. It was the closest i could find to Benson and Hedges gold that the aircraft was painted in.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I really like to see gold on a plane. It reminds me of my Hasegawa F-86 I had in 72
