The Hasegawa P-2 Neptune is another good sub hunter kit. I did that one too. Both similar in size in 1/72 scale. Been looking for that one for awhile.

Me too. Haven't got my hands on a P-3 kit yet but I do have two P-2 kits
I'd like a P-2 as well.

I have two P-3's in my stash: one for the US Navy, the other for the JMSDF. If I can get something finished, it might be time to bring one or both out.

While nothing really fits well, the plastic is just soft enough to make it easy to sand. Got one of four engines cleaned up and I'm working on the other three. I drilled the holes out for the sonobouy launchers.

Just in case you don’t want to use the kit decals and feel like a commemorative scheme…

I’m sure someone might have spares. Looks easy enough. The blue shade shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

Just saw that Caracal Decals have a sheet with a bunch of different options coming out soon so I'll wait for that.

It’s the WWII colors and I’m pretty sure that they matched them to the closest available. The undersides are easy being Light Gull Gray. In 1/48 you could easily come up with the squadron codes from Yellow Wings Decals. Not sure if they have them in 1/72 as well.
