I have been working on this one for a little while, and it will be going to a local show this week. Thunder Model's 1/35 Case VAI.
This is the 2nd time I built this kit, and it was still a good time the 2nd time around.

Thanks for looking!

I agree, they are a nice change of pace, and these older tractors have a fairly light parts count. I have been picking them up almost anytime I see a tractor kit. The same Revell Porsche, a couple Hasegawa's of a contemporary Japanese maker, and I have had my eye on a Miniart German tractor from the 30s.keavdog wrote:Looks awesome. There seems to be a growing tractor model movement. I see more and more. Personally I built the 1/48 Tamiya Komatsu (really a dozer but same class in my mind). And I have the revell Porsche tractor in the stash
Yeah, that would still be a fun little project! Too bad John Deere seems to keep their brand pretty close to the chest.Stikpusher wrote:Very nice work! Too bad you couldn’t add an enclosed cab, paint it in John Deere colors, and have it in a Ukrainian setting

Agreed, it would certainly look fitting in an airfield setting with a wagon load of bombs behind. Alternative markings were actually included for the US Army Air Corps as well.jeaton01 wrote:Very nice Robert. Another one I'd like to see in 1/48.
Case yellow and orange, Carlos!
