I’m impressed. Now I wanna get this kit. Too bad it doesn’t give the option to build as a Nightfighter with a wing radar pod. As one already mentioned, I’d love to see Eduard come out with a Kingfisher kit. I’ve been toying around with the oldie Monogram Kingfisher kit not too long ago.

I'm sure that version will come in future, the sprues are full of unused pieces for upcoming versions!

As I earlier told, the wings are on. So far so good.

Have also started to work with bits&pieces, the complex landing gear structure, the engine and with the cowling.

The cowling is the usual 2 + 1 pieces thing, but not as ingeniously & precisely engineerd as Eduards Zeros cowling was with even a jig! See here

Filling with Mr Surfacer 500 and sanding was needed a couple of times, but now it's ready to be primed.

Let see what next day brings!

That is coming along quite nicely! Looks great.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Oh I'd still screw up that cowling. Why do they insist in doing it like that. :headbang:

Indeed, they could have, in my humble opinion, done that cowling in one piece !
