These days, any Model Master paints still around are considered gold. Ive still got quite a lot of them left over in stash.

I got, oh, 25 jars or more, I don’t use. Some not opened, I think. They are mostly RLM colors. Acrylic and enamel.

It is still possible to get some Model Master paints, but I am not willing to pay the ridiculous inflated prices people are asking. I'll just switch to something else, slowly as I start to run out. I still need to order a replacement for my insignia red. Maybe tomorrow after I collect on my Mini W7 commission.

Hercs were my first love, before I met Whiskey 7. I live in Niagara Falls NY, not far from the base, so I used to plane spot while they were doing their drills, typically on Tuesdays. You could sit across the street from the under of the runway and have them fly right over head. I miss the sound. We do occasionally get transient Hercs. Our current base plane is the KC-135.

I was crew on the first local away event of the season back in May. We had a small event at the base here. They were doing a dedication ceremony for the C-130 that they had recently put on display, and had Whiskey 7 perform a flyover.

I intend to build that KC-135 in the back round at some point, it's 62-3557. Drop the 6, and you have my Mom's birthday if you rearrange the numbers a bit 5/23/57. The kiddo and I got a tour of it while at the event. So I got to get some interior pics.

They have several aircraft on display on base. An F-101, F-100, C-119, C-47, C-130, and an F-4.

That’s it Keyda! Now you gotta send me up on W7! LOLOL! But damn.... in the cockpit?!

I spy a Boxcar! I’d kill to find the old Testors kit of it. They had one at Syrcon last a Sunday but he was asking retail price and box was sorta crushed.

Keyda, that flyover view sure looks quite similar to Airborne Walk at Ft Benning GA. Very nice!

Her flight season typically starts in May, rides at home are $125. I paid $195 for my first flight in 2017. We are only required to be buckled in for taxi, take off, and landings. Once she's up in the air the crew chief does a visual engine check, then passengers are allowed to get up and move around. We let people up to the cockpit to see the view. So whenever we are traveling my butt is usually up there most of the flight, like on the way back from Norwich.....
That's me right behind the pilots

Several of our pilots are also Certified flight instructors, so sometimes we are lucky enough to get asked if we want to fly for a little while, and we can even log the time. I've had the opportunity to fly some of the smaller planes at the museum, but I wanted Whiskey to be the first plane I ever flew, so I held out.
I got to fly left seat for a little while on our way to Ohio.

Thanks Handiabled! I ordered a couple of jars.
